Setting The Benchmark – Barcelona Leading The Charts For Most Goals And Assists In La Liga
During Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Espanyol, star forward Robert Lewandowski did not find the back of the net, but this did not affect his status as the leading goalscorer in the league.
As the competition progresses through its 12th round, Lewandowski remains at the top of the Pichichi rankings with an impressive tally of 14 goals.
This achievement places him significantly ahead of his closest rivals, Ayoze Perez from Villarreal and his own teammate Raphinha, both of whom have scored 7 goals.
Trailing in the rankings are Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid and Ante Budimir of Osasuna, who are currently tied for fourth place with 6 goals each.
They are followed closely by several other talented players, including Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal from Barcelona, Vinicius Jr. from Real Madrid, Dodi Lukebakio of Sevilla, and Giovanni Lo Celso from Real Betis, all contributing with 5 goals each.

Yamal Leading The Assist Chart
In addition to Barcelona’s scoring prowess, Yamal has emerged as a key playmaker in the league, leading the assist rankings for the 2024-2025 season. His exceptional ability to set up goals has resulted in 7 assists, putting him one ahead of Raphinha.
Remarkably, Yamal has played a role in 12 out of the 50 goals Barcelona have scored this season, highlighting his significant contribution to the team’s attacking play. This means that one in every four goals scored by Barça has involved Yamal.
His contributions in terms of assists have been consistent throughout the season. Yamal made his mark early in the campaign, registering his first assist against Valencia in the opening match.
He followed this with assists against Rayo Vallecano, Valladolid, Villarreal, Sevilla, and most recently, Espanyol.
His generosity on the pitch is evident, as he has provided multiple assists to several teammates: a couple to Lewandowski, two to Raphinha, and additional assists to Pedri and Dani Olmo.
